Foreword

HKBU alumni who are on a mission to nurture the next generation of teachers by giving them a head start on professional learning.

'What comes from the heart goes to the heart' (Samuel Taylor Coleridge) – the grace and strength of our star leaders and teachers are our true legacies in this worthy endeavour.  They are geared up as sowers to cultivate the hopes of youth and to set teacher-learners on a sound and inspiring footing.

With Vincent van Gogh's (1853-1890) notion of vision and reality as our steering-gear, we have made perfect our will to lead the ship by the stars.  On the wings of your support and participatory engagement, we are in great anticipation of our teacher alumni series, mentoring activities, as well as a leading-edge symposium at the project's end.  A festival of learning awaits you.

'What is done exactly cannot be done ill' (George Herbert) – this attitude has long been our mantra and fortitude in our educational ventures. We have put together the best-laid plans with an air of the stardom to cheer your learning journey on. The ensuing pages are hopeful to leave you with an appetite for more.
